If I tally these up (assigning one vote for #1, 2 votes for #2, etc.), the book with the FEWEST # of votes would win. It looks like we have the following set-up:
1) Kite Runner (11 votes)
2) Future Grace (11 votes)
3) Instruments (13 votes)
4) A Long Obedience (14 votes)
5) Knowledge of the Holy (17 votes)
6) For One More Day (20 votes)
Not sure if anyone wants to check my math. If it's correct, then it looks like there's a tie between Kite Runner and Future Grace. Personally, I'd be okay with either option at this point. Future Grace would be cheaper for me since I already have it, but Kite Runner is not outrageously expensive either.
Maybe we should go for Kite Runner this time, and we can do Future Grace next time. Selecting two books now might be wise so that we don't have to go through the whole process again right away.

Sorry, I haven't been on here in a bit. I'll try to keep up a little better! I picked For One More Day first because I have already checked it out from the library and was going to start reading it soon. However, whatever the majority wants is cool. Happy Valentine's Day!
I'm ok with starting with Kite Runner. I'm currently reading Marley and Me (about a guy's crazy dog...if you guys knew our dog Norm you'd understand. Ha!). However, the dog in the book is getting old and I'm pretty sure I know what's going to happen next. I'm not looking forward to reading about that, so I'm ready to start something new. :)
